Based on a ballad by Goethe (taken from a tale by the Greek poet, Lucian), "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" tells the story of a young magician's apprentice who tries to lighten her workload by experimenting with magic spells she has seen used by her master.
Tired of fetching firewood for the cauldron, the apprentice "magicks" the surrounding trees and rocks to get some help—with unexpected results!
Fortunately, the sorcerer returns to take control of the situation—and makes sure the apprentice has learned her lesson.
