The 2006 Coon Rapids Marching Cardinals are excited to perform their arrangement of "Rocky Point Holiday" written by Ron Nelson and arranged by their Director, Kevin Fuhrman.
The challenge of this piece fits well with the challenge of marching and performing music and we are about to push ourselves again this year. You will hear a number of themes that the composer weaved together in memory of a trip to Rhode Island with his family. We felt it was a great backdrop for a high-powered marching program!
The Drum Major is Jessica Mattson, who has been with the group for four years.
